On November 13, 2026, the Dr. B.-DIGITEC Academy will host a professional continuing education event on modern endodontics at the Leonardo Royal Hotel Cologne, featuring Prof. Dr. Michael A. Baumann from Cologne. The focus will be on current questions in endodontics and the central role of disinfection. The Endo Update 2026 is aimed at dentists who want to professionally assess, update, and further develop their endodontic workflows in a practice-oriented way. Participation costs 79 euros, and 4 continuing education points will be awarded for the event.
Dr. B.-DIGITEC receives bronze at the Dental Marketing Award 2026. The campaign "Digital Dental Technology Reimagined" was honored.
Dentistry demands precision, concentration, and physical endurance. Dr. Markus Beckers explains why posture, back, neck, and prevention are not secondary concerns in daily practice – and why their own body is a professional foundation for dentists.
This autumn, Dr. B.-Digitec is planning a hands-on workshop on troubleshooting dental scanners. The focus will be on common sources of error in intraoral scanning, practical solutions, and concrete tips for optimizing digital scanning processes in everyday practice and laboratory use. The speaker will be announced at a later date.

DIGITALLY IN THE FUTURE
Many dental practices already use intraoral scanners – but the real effort often begins after the scan. Dr. B.-Digitec organises the digital workflow from scan upload through data verification, cost estimate, manufacturing, quality control and express logistics all the way to the finished restoration.
Open scanner systems and digital platforms such as 3Shape, Medit, Primescan, DS Core, iTero, Shining 3D, Carestream or Planmeca are supported following a compatibility check. Usable scan data is reviewed, unclear cases are specifically followed up and rescanned if necessary.
For practices, a clear procurement route for digital dental prosthetics is established: zirconia crowns, zirconia bridges, PFM, base metal, implant prosthetics, telescopic restorations and anti-snoring splints. Standard work typically reaches the practice within 5 to 10 working days.
Especially with rising laboratory, material and practice costs, the digital route opens up new economic opportunities. Suitable restorations can be calculated with significant savings potential – with clear quality control, material documentation, declaration of conformity and defined accountability.
Dr. B.-Digitec is the bridge builder between dental practice, digital workflow, training, quality control, logistics and state-of-the-art manufacturing companies.

QUALITY
Incoming scan data is reviewed in Germany before the case goes into production. This creates clarity, reduces unnecessary queries and makes the entire process transparent and traceable for the practice at all times.
This incoming inspection ensures that the digital data is complete, correctly aligned and technically prepared for further processing in the CAD/CAM workflow.
Combined with the subsequent high-precision manufacturing and a final quality control, this results in a stable digital workflow with a high level of process reliability.
For the dental practice, this means in concrete terms: less post-processing after placement, significantly reduced chairside adjustment times and an overall more efficient delivery of dental restorations in everyday practice.
